Feature & Follow #1

The Feature & Follow is hosted by TWO hosts, Parajunkee of Parajunkee's View and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!
Happy for follows wherever. GFC, Twitter, Bloglovin', whatever you prefer.

This Week's Question
What is your favourite movie?
suggested by A Kernel of Nonsense

I love movies! Not as much as I love books, but still a lot. There are so many great movie but my all time favourite has to be The Shawshank Redemption.
Endlessly quotable, motivational, inspirational ... it's a crime that this never won an Oscar for Best Picture. If there was ever a more wonderful scene than Andy locking himself in the warden's office and playing Mozart to the inmates over the loudspeakers, I haven't seen it. Actually welling up as I type!

Close second is Brave. I love Merida so much! I don't get why kids go so crazy over Elsa from Frozen when Merida is clearly the better Disney princess.

So over to you guys. What's your favourite movie?

    1. Yeah, it's the kind of film you have to be in the mood to watch. Sometimes it will be on tv and I just won't want to get into it, but if you haven't seen the ending please do watch it, it's soooo good!

      Thanks for the follows.

    1. I just posted Shawshank originally, then had to come back and add Brave after re-watching it. I'd forgotten how much I loved it!

Thanks for the follows and congrats on your feature this week.

  10. I love The Shawshank Redemption. It's one of the only book-to-movie adaptations that doesn't make me want to jump out the window. The Stephen King novella is well worth a look if you've never read it :)

    1. As shameful it is for an avid reader to admit, I've never read the novella. One for my to-read list I think!

      Thanks for the follows.

  12. Great choices! Although I haven't seen The Shawshank Redemption yet it is definitely there on my must watch list. And Brave is just brilliant though I do laugh at some of the exaggerated accents.

Thanks for following. I've followed you back via Bloglovin'.

    1. Thanks Lauren. Apparently Reese Witherspoon was going to voice Merida before Kelly McDonald did it, so the accents could have been much, much worse!
